Fajar Apriyanto, a man from Solo, was introduced to the world of photography during his junior high school years in his hometown. After completing his high school education, he moved to Yogyakarta and pursued a degree in Visual Communication Design at the Modern School of Design Yogyakarta (1995). In this program, he delved deeper into the world of cameras for a year. His commitment to photography was evident when he enrolled in the photography department of the Faculty of Media Arts Recording, ISI Yogyakarta (1996) during his undergraduate studies. As a student, he specialized in commercial photography. His dedication to photography led him to become a teaching staff member in the Photography Department at FSMR, ISI Yogyakarta. He furthered his studies in the Creation Program at the Postgraduate level at ISI Yogyakarta (2008). Currently, he is completing his doctoral studies at the same institution (2020).
